Quite, beautiful campsite. Fairly cool, even on hottest days. Nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Great spot to get away from the sardine-can-style campgrounds in more popular areas. This quiet spot, tucked in a lush valley, is only $4, has clean vault toilets, lots of tree cover, and a gorgeous creek with waterfall that you can walk in. Great place for a well-behaved dog, too. My collie loved it. There are two or three sites along the river, and one along a feeder creek. The rest are on the hillside (which I noticed were kinda wet and soft from recent rains.) Bring your own water - there isn't any! A nice treat was driving through the forded creek at the entrance. Only seen that once before at White Pine Forest SP in Illinois.
